The auction went pretty well . lots of nice fish and not so nice - a large showa got highest price $660? i was told it was a sibling to reserve champion at last years nat show. a large chagoi between $300 -$400 .bags of small fish brought good prices some over $200.

Hi Bindi and all

I have just walked in the door , got a few photos until the batteries went dead on the camera, will post them tomorrow.
bought a very nice ochiba shigure about 50cm , nice reddish tones, $85 very happy with that!
Took in some bags of small fish, very happy with the result.I might have paid for the petrol this trip.!

Hi Bindi

Heres a couple more,

I bid up to $200 on both these lots and then dropped out,They both made about another $20 - $40

Thre Harawake is stunning with like golden goggles, and the Ochiba was very nicely marked, the accompanying fish were also good.

Good price for small fish!

Here is the Ochiba Shigue I bought for $85, not a good photo as he thrashes around like a saltwater croc! He measured in at 47cm

Picture below is in our pond, making friends with the Ochiba Chagoi and the Gin Rin Chagoi!
